This event includes a 1 hr yoga practice and meditation with Elizabeth, an organic seedling to take home and grow (pepper or tomato plant), an informative talk from Meghan on how to grow without pesticides, and a small Q & A session. Join us for a lovely day celebrating nature and you!
The perfect getaway for Mother’s Day! Half price for daughters 13 and under.
Kaluna Farm Retreat is a 92-acre family property in a diverse mix of forested land, riparian zones, pasture and garden areas. They are committed to being conscious stewards of the land, which has been farmed using organic and sustainable practices for 20+ years. They produce fruit, vegetables, herbs and eggs for their family and local community as well (grab some while you’re here, if desired!) In addition to their diverse homestead ecosystem, they also host guests for short-term farm stays in four unique rentals.
Drawing from nearly 20 years of organic farming experience, co-host Meghan Cole-Jones is a well-seasoned producer of vegetables, fruits and herbs. Her pathway (which includes a college degree in Sustainable Agriculture) is guided by a passion for organic & sustainable food, as well as a desire to feed the local community. As a mother of two, Meghan has a strong commitment to consciously caring for the earth. Her relationship with nature and love of her family inform her lifestyle and management decisions, which seek to benefit both current and future generations.
