A night of celebrating menstruation!
Oftentimes in traditional societies, women’s bleeding time was honored & respected as sacred days. Women would gather in a tent to rest & bleed together (where the idea of women’s circles originates from). No work was necessary during this time, in fact it would be forbidden.
Yet today, in our society, menstruation is seen as dirty & must be kept hidden. We have lost the sacredness to it.
It is time to reclaim this time as a time of magic & beauty! Whether you bleed or not, we will be discussing our experience with menstruation & honoring its sacredness in our life.
